Project Information:
The work of this project primarily consists of the construction of the following:- 1. Demolition of the existing 20 ton suspended air handler and roof mounted condensing unit. The existing distribution duct and duct heater shall remain.
- 2. Demolition of existing CMU wall in the adjacent storage closet, and placement of new concrete equipment pad.
- 3. Placement of a new 20 ton air handler unit in the adjacent storage closet, to include new louvered doors for return air, piping for the condensate through the exterior wall, opening in the wall for the supply air duct to route and connect back into the existing distribution ductwork.
- 4. Placement of a new condensing unit on the adjacent roof, and new refrigerant piping routed between the air handler and the condenser.
Bid Information:
Sealed bids for Carver Museum HVAC Replacement will be received by The Honorable David Livingston, Mayor at the Haywood County Mayor’s Office, 1 North Washington Avenue, Brownsville, TN 38012 until September 29, 2022, at 10:00 AM local time, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
An official list of bidders will be maintained at www.a2hplanroom.com, to ensure eligibility requirements of the bidder are met prior to the bid opening. Any bid submitted from a bidder not on the official bidders list and/or not containing the above information will not be opened. Official bidders will be established by attendance of the mandatory pre-bid meeting.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on September 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM local time at Carver Museum, 905 E. Jefferson Street, Brownsville, TN 38012.
