The Sheffield Housing Authority of Sheffield, Alabama, hereafter called the “Public Housing Agency” or PHA, will receive sealed bids for the Interior and Exterior Renovation of 8 Buildings and Office on Atlanta Avenue of Sheffield Housing Authority, until 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 19, 2023, at the office of the PHA located at 505 North Columbia Avenue, Sheffield, Alabama 35660, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
ANY BID RECEIVED AFTER THE CLOSING TIME WILL NOT BE OPENED.
In order to be a qualified bidder, bidding documents must be obtained from the plan room above. There is no cost associated with viewing or downloading an electronic copy of the plans and project manual. If you would like a physical set then they can be printed, paid for, and shipped to you, directly through the website.
The PHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
WALK THROUGH AND PRE-BID CONFERENCE
At 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 5, 2023, a Pre-bid Conference will be held at 505 North Columbia Avenue, in Sheffield, Alabama for the purpose of answering questions Bidders may have and to consider any suggestions they may wish to make concerning the project. Immediately following the Pre-bid Conference, a walkthrough of the project will be held by the Owner. All Contractors are strongly recommended to attend this walk through and pre-bid conference.
Hard copy full sets of plans and specifications will be available for purchase at contractors expense, which will be fulfilled by Memphis Reprographics or files may be downloaded for free from our online plan room.
