The Commons Building Hinds Community College

Project will include a three-story residence hall (FFE 370.5 ft), a one-story dining hall (FFE 369.5 ft), a one-story gymnasium/wellness center (FFE 368.0 ft), and new parking lots and driveways. We understand the buildings will consist of steel-framed structures with exterior brick veneer, stone veneer or metal wall panels. The dining hall and gymnasium/wellness center will have maximum column loads of 100 kips and the residence hall will have maximum column loads of 180 kips and maximum wall loads of 6 kips per ft. The new parking lots and driveways will surround the new buildings.
