Low Voltage Cabling for Poplar Hill Middle

The supply and installation of structured telecommunications cabling components and systems for our new Poplar Hill Middle School of Rutherford County Schools. This document describes the system requirements to be met in the bid responses of the communications cabling vendors to secure under contract all materials, design, engineering, installation, supervision and training services for the structured cabling components and systems. The primary design of the cable system shall follow the specifications set forth by RCBE, in that unshielded twisted pair (UTP) copper cable will be used for connections to information outlets and fiber optic cable will be used to connect an equipment room to communication closet. Distribution frames may be floor or wall mounted as well as open or enclosed as determined for this project.
