Fire Station 2 - Window Renovations

The fire station is an R-3 occupancy (congregate living facility < 16 occupants) under the 2021 IBC. It is the intent of this project to replace two existing windows in the sleeping quarters of the fire station (each shared by two bedrooms) with four new insulated windows, one in each of the four bedrooms, in order to comply with Section 1031, Emergency Escape and Rescue, of the 2021 IBC. All associated interior and exterior modifications required to achieve this objective are to be included in the scope of work for this project.
