Coahoma County ILEX Project
The Project generally consists of the construction of spaces used for 2 factory operations: 1) processing of raw tea leaves into a bagged product for distribution and retail sale, and 2) an aquaponics greenhouse which includes a grow room as well as space for aquaponics tanks and storage. There will also be a pair of restrooms, new lighting, fans, and a new fire protection system for the building. Some demolition of the existing interior construction will be required to accommodate the new program. The existing building shell requires some rehabilitation. In the aquaponics area, light-transmitting panels will replace some of the existing metal panels to facilitate plant growth. The scope of work is more completely described in the Contract Documents.
