Bid Information:

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the City of Memphis Purchasing Agent, Room 354, City Hall, 125 N. Main, Memphis, TN 38103, until 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 for furnishing the City of Memphis with the following:

FOR THE DIVISION OF: PUBLIC WORKS

FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF: Drainage Improvement Group 2

Classification for this Project shall be MU (A)(C)(D).

All bidders must be licensed contractors as required by Title 62, Chapter 6, of the Tennessee Code Annotated and must comply with the requirements of Tenn. Code Ann. 62-6-119.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Installation of new drainage system, including 723 lf on 24”-30” round drainage pipe and 45”x29” horizontal elliptical drainage pipe and associated drainage structures (manholes, headwalls, and inlets) at two projects locations. The first is located along Debby Street south from the intersection with Madeline Circle then continuing off-street west of Debby Street and south of Madeline Circle to split form the existing drainage system. The second is located at the western terminus of Lillian Drive and then off-street to the north and south. Scope also includes site preparation and restoration, excavation and embankment, asphalt and concrete removal and replacement, and associated traffic control and erosion control. This project is funded by the WIFIA program and subject to requirements in the section titled “WIFIA SPECIFICATION PACAKAGE AND BID CONTRACT LANGUAGE”

For the mutual protection of the City and all subcontractors and material suppliers, partial sets of documents will not be issued. Therefore, all contractors intending to submit a bid shall obtain one (1) complete set of documents from the City in order for his bid to be accepted. This will also place the Contractor on the mailing list for possible addenda issuance.
