Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the City of Memphis Purchasing Agent, Room 354, City Hall, 125 N. Main, Memphis, TN 38103, until 12:00 Noon, December 9, 2020.
For the mutual protection of the City and all subcontractors and material suppliers, partial sets of documents will not be issued. Therefore, all contractors intending to submit a bid shall obtain one (1) complete set of documents from the City in order for his bid to be accepted. This will also place the Contractor on the mailing list for possible addenda issuance.

Scope of Work
The MAXSON WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT – PRIMARY SLUDGE LINE REPLACEMENT project (SW20203) consists of installation of a new primary sludge line for the Maxson Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 2685 Steam Plant Road. The Work generally consists of the installation of a 16” DR11 DIPS HDPE pipe from the primary sludge pump building at the treatment plant to the sludge lagoons located near Riverport Road and Buoy Street, a distance of approximately 6,300 L.F.; installation of 230 L.F. of 22” steel casing by dry jack and bore under Riverport Road; installation of 70 L.F. of 22” steel casing by dry jack and bore under Plant Road; installation of air release valves; and all other appurtenant and necessary work required to complete the project as shown on the plans and described in the specifications. Connections of the new force main and abandonment of the old force main shall be done with minimal down time for the primary sludge system. Timing and duration of this work shall be established by the City of Memphis.
