Harris Elementary School Fire Flow Improvements

Project Description: Replacement of approximately 7,100 linear feet (LF) of existing water mains, including 6-inch cast iron pipe (CIP) and asbestos cement pipe (ACP), with new 12-inch and 16-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) along Duluth Highway (State Route 120) and Claiborne Drive. The section along Duluth Highway will be 5,800 LF of 12-inch and 16-inch DIP. The section along Claiborne Drive will be 1,300 LF of 12-inch DIP. Includes branch connections and tie-in’s, abandoning existing parallel water mains, service line reconnections, traffic control, erosion control and site clean-up, all other work required to complete the project.
