Walton Blvd. and Central Ave. Intersection Improvements

The project consists of intersection improvements at Walton Boulevard and Central Avenue including dual eastbound and westbound left-turn lanes and northbound and southbound right-turn lanes. The project includes mill and overlay of the existing pavement, full depth pavement widening, and sidewalk relocation or replacement. The project also includes traffic signal reconstruction. The existing storm system within the project limits will be replaced and improved. Specific off-site improvements are also included with the project, for the City of Bentonville Engineering Department.

Bid Information:

There will be a Public Bid Opening for IFB-25-10 held at 1:30 PM CST on Thursday, August 21, 2025; the Bid Opening will be held at the City of Bentonville Administrative Services Building in Room A239 on the 2nd floor, located at 1000 SW 14th Street Bentonville, AR 72712. All Bid Submissions must be received by Purchasing and Compliance prior to the Public Bid Opening time. Late Submissions, unsigned Submissions and Submissions which do not contain the required Bid Bond will be rejected, without exception. In accordance with Arkansas Procurement Law and Rules, it is the responsibility of vendors to submit responses at the designated location before the Bid Opening date and time. Bidders who wish to deliver a Bid Submission prior to the Bid Opening date/time may do so by delivering the Bid Submission to the Purchasing and Compliance Department located at the address above.

Pre-Bid Information:

There will be an OPTIONAL Pre-Bid Meeting (in-person) held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 10:00 AM CST, located at Bentonville Municipal Complex, Engineering Conference Room C105 located at 3200 SW Municipal Drive Bentonville, AR 72712. The Pre-Bid Meeting will be held to allow Bidders an opportunity to view the work area and field verify any needed measurements.
